Samoborska glazbena jesen is a festival that has been promoting excellent musical art for more than four decades.
Over the years, the festival, with its scope, quality and diversity of programs, has developed into an event whose content represents a cultural value of national importance.
What has adorned this festival for more than four decades is the exceptionality and uniqueness of its content, the high level of its presentation and interpretation, and the true enthusiasm in creating art and conveying its message.
International competition of young musicians Ferdo Livadić, a competition that during the seventeen years of its existence has given birth to numerous talents, today already stars of classical music at the international level, such as Petrit Çeku, Aljoša Jurinić and others...
An additional value to the festival is given by a project aimed at young talents: the New Note Composition Competition, the only permanent and international composer competition in Croatia.
Precisely because of such an attitude towards music and artists, Samoborska glazbena jesen is an important cultural project in the Republic of Croatia, and its special profile has been recognized by exceptional and famous artists from Croatia and abroad, who choose Samobor as a place to perform and return.
